I went to SF today with some HS friends. It was quite the adventure. We explored many places I've never been to before.

Here are some pictures that I took. I have many more good ones, but Blogger wont let me post more than 4 or 5 depending on its mood.

View of SF from Treasure Island.

Boccalone. This here is the "picnic basket." It includes five different thin slices of meat. It was quite tasty.

The friends I went with. They all wear glasses and they're all hella cool.

We ate here for lunch, after about a 3 miles walk/muni ride. It's called Nopalito, and they sell organic Mexican food. Overall, the food was average. The food didn't sit very well in my stomach though.

yosemite

i took a weekend trip to yosemite with my brother. it was pretty sweet.

here's the tent that we set up. it fits about 3-4 people. we didnt bring enough blankets so we were freezing in the middle of the night. i cuddled with my brother for warmth -_-. at 6am, we migrated our way to the car to hibernate for another 4 hours. that made a total 10 hours. besides that, we had many random 1-2 hours naps along the hikes. fighting bears takes a lot out of you, you know?

my epic stance at the equally epic lower yosemite waterfall. this is one of the popular tourist destinations of yosemite

i was so close to the waterfall i felt the mist blowing into my face. it was quite refreshing on that hot day. if i had been any closer, i could've befriended the skinnydippers at the waterfall pond. maybe i'd have converted too.

i took a nap to this view. sweet, right? i admit, this picture is wallpaper status, but it still doesn't do justice to the beauty and glamour of what it really looks like.
